Tryst With Memories

Sitting by the road

Glancing down the curve

Foot marks I left behind

On the slippery curb

Time was never my muse

In the game of survival

Every skill I put to use

It was goodbye for me at every arrival

Music and rhythm,

I created my own

Strings of desires

To me unknown

Lane after lane, edge to edge

Landscapes changed, not my pledge

Memories I committed myself to

have stayed close to me until now

The road may seem long and uphill

Easy not for me to bow

Let me collect some more of these

Stashing away what I can

I have come a long way buddy

with this treasured caravan.
